Chinese Painting and Calligraphy (Beginner)

Course Overview:

Art can be a form of expression for a child's dream, emotion and feeling. Our programme inculcates the essential skills to invigorate creativity.

Students will learn the mastery of a Chinese brush, the art of Chinese ink painting and calligraphy

The course seeks to cultivate every student’s interest and passion in the Chinese culture, history and different progressive art forms.

Course Content:

In this immersive course, students will not only learn the art of Chinese calligraphy but also delve into the rich tapestry of Chinese culture and history.

Assessment Methods: 

No assessments will be conducted.

Required Materials:

Students who do not possess the necessary materials can order them through the instructor. Total material fee: $80.

Calligraphy materials include: calligraphy paper, one brush, ink, ink container, textbook, brush mat,

Painting materials include: set of chinese watercolours, 2 additional brushes, painting paper and additional materials for each painting class.
