What is Agora at School?
Agora at School is a platform that helps provide children with the very best out of school term-time and camp programmes right on your school premises.
Where are the programmes held?
School programmes will always be held at your school premises.
Courses
How do I find and book a course for my child
- Once you’ve scanned your school-specific QR code or clicked on your school-specific URL (shared with you by your school), you will be directed to a webpage listing all of the available programmes at your school.
- You can go ahead and look into the programmes from here and then, when ready, you can choose to add to cart.
- Once you’re ready to book the course, you can click on the cart button and proceed to check-out as if you are on a regular e-commerce site.
- You will be asked for your child’s details so that we can register them immediately for the requested programme.
Is there a minimum number of students for a course?
In certain courses (e.g. drama) it may not be possible to start with just 1 or 2 sign-ups. We will keep parents informed in such cases and work with you to find suitable alternatives.
Can I make recommendations for additional programmes?
Yes! We are always keen to explore new programmes and would love to hear your recommendations.
Who should I go to if I have questions or issues?
Please email us and we will be happy to address any questions you may have.
Do you charge booking fees or material fees?
There are no booking fees - we want to simplify lives of parents and students! However some programmes do charge material fees or uniform fees and will be clearly listed in the course details.
Can I join a class halfway through a course?
Many of our courses and programmes allow new joiners during an ongoing course on a pro-rated basis. You can book directly online and the price will be pro-rated for the remaining sessions at check-out. Please contact us in case of any questions.
Logistics
Where should my child meet the course instructor?
There are designated areas for assembly. We will send out detailed instructions by email for each course ahead of the start date. Instructors will bring your child to the classroom from the assembly point.
What happens on public holidays?
We do not schedule courses to run during public holidays. Classes will run based on scheduled dates listed on our website.
What does my child needs to bring on the day?
This will depend on each programme and we will message you in advance of the programme start date in case of any specific requirements. This will also be shared in the course details on the website.
What should my child wear to your course programmes?
We ask that your child wears their school uniform or PE outfit or other specific clothing as may be required for the activity and advised to you.
Can my other children who are not from the same school join these programmes?
These courses are exclusively offered to students from the school.
Payment and fees
Can I only book online?
In order to streamline processes and provide you with the best level of integrated service, we can only accept online bookings. Do let us know if you have any trouble and our team will be glad to help you.
Do you offer discounts?
All our courses have fixed pricing and we don’t offer any discounts (eg for multiple sign-ups).
Safety, security and well-being
How do you ensure child safety onsite?
Students are under supervision whilst on school premises. Parents should drop off and pick up their children at designated school gates.
What qualifications do your instructors have?
All our instructors are MOE registered.
What happens if I am running late to pick up my child?
Your child will wait at the holding area besides the respective dismissal gate at your school.
